Job Description

Responsibilities

You will use your analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in the following areas to help our clients achieve their financial goals and aspirations.

  • Financial Analysis and Research:
    • Perform detailed financial analysis to assess client portfolios and develop investment strategies.
    • Conduct research on market trends, securities, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments.
    • Assist in creating asset allocation models and portfolio diversification strategies.
  • Client Support:
    • Prepare customized financial reports, investment proposals, and performance reviews for clients.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial plans, retirement strategies, and tax-efficient wealth management solutions.
    • Respond to client inquiries and assist in resolving issues related to their investment portfolios.
  • Portfolio Management Support:
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of client portfolios.
    • Collaborate with advisors to make adjustments based on client objectives and market conditions.
    • Assist in rebalancing portfolios and ensuring they are aligned with client risk profiles and goals.
    • Serve as secretary for bi-weekly investment committee meetings.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of client accounts, transactions, and documentation.
    • Assist in preparing regulatory filings and client disclosures.
  • Market Research & Reporting:
    • Stay updated on global economic developments, market conditions, and new financial products.
    • Prepare market commentary, investment memos, and performance reports for internal and external use.
    • Collaborate on strategic initiatives, such as new product research and development.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Coordinate and prepare for client meetings, including generating financial reports and presentations.
    • Assist in onboarding new clients, including data gathering, documentation, and account setup.
    • Become expert with CRM system, trading tools, and data aggregation portal.

Clients must trust their Wealth Management Strategist to act in their best interest at all times.

Communication Skills: Financial Analysts must be able to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to clients who may not have a financial background. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.

Interpersonal Skills: Financial Analysts must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and other professionals in the financial industry. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in wealth management or investment advisory.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and portfolio management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • FINRA Series 65 or 7 with a 66 license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Progress toward CFA, CFP, or related certifications is preferred.
